This all happened a few hours after Mom found Jackson and his neighbor friend chucking trash over the fence after they knocked the garbage can over and went on to transporting water from the bathroom sink the the carpet...
Jackson: "Mom! Tanner put glue on himself"
Mom walks in to find Tanner COVERED in glue
Mom: "Tanner!!! NO!!"
Mom puts Tanner in the bathtub while yelling loudly
Tanner: "waaaaaah"
A few minutes later-
Jackson: "We would like you to say sorry"
Mom: "You want me to say sorry?!?"
Jackson: "Yes, for yelling at Tanner"
Mom looks at Tanner with fire shooting from her eyes
Mom: "Tanner, who was naughty?"
Tanner points to himself
Mom: "Who had to clean up the big huge mess?"
Tanner points to mom
Mom: "Who needs to say sorry?"
Tanner points to himself
Mom: "That's right."
Tanner: "But you are mad at me."
Mom: "Yep."
Tanner: "But you are still angry."
Mom: "Yep."
Tanner: "But I like your hair, it's really pretty."
Mom accepts that as an apology and isn't quite so angry anymore.
