one day down, five to go

Jared is currently in Utah looking for a job. We have never been apart this long before and it isn't really very fun. I don't know why it is that when your with someone you love you always take them for granted and you don't realize how much you depend on them until you're all alone :(

It really isn't as bad as I expected, thanks to American Idol for filling up most of my evenings (go little Archuleta) and the boys are actually keeping me good company.

So I've made it through day 1. Wish us luck and I hope to be seeing a lot of you (permanently) in a couple of months.

Yay for that news!!! I thought he was going to do more school for orthodontics. The thought of you guys coming back puts a BIG smile on my face. I will hire him. I can give him $50 every six months to clean my teeth. That's enough, right?
I remember when Mick went to Chicago for two weeks and I stayed home and cried for 12 of the 14 days or something.

Oh yeah and I also remember a certain brother-in-law of yours laughing at me for crying... THANKS BRIAN!!!

That's too funny. Brian used to travel about once a month for a week at a time so I got used to being alone. Now I don't like it when he's gone for a whole week, but I do enjoy having a night or two to myself once in a while(Brian just spent two days in San Francisco). When Brian is gone I am OFF kitchen duty and I get to watch all the girly shows I want :)

I am sooo Jealous!!! I hope everything works out for you guys to go back to Utah. Who knows if we will ever get there. Caroline keeps telling us that she wants to move to Utah and live in her room at Grammies. It makes me so sad that they are now getting old enough to understand that we are the ones that are far away and missing everything. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you guys!

Congrats! Now I'll only have to drive 10 hours instead of 24 to have Jared take care of my teeth.

That'd be awesome if you guys ended up here then we could have playdates together!

Just kidding (Jennifer). Misa told me you guys were trying to go back to utah. That's great. I know how tough it is for dentists to squeeze back in "the bubble" but I hope it works out. We're seriously debating whether to try to get into the "U" for residency. That'd be fun.

Well, just to repeat what everybody else said, I am excited and hoping and praying that it works out and you come back this direction. I do like my dentist but I think that I could switch over to a dentist named Jared for sure!!!!

So what's the latest news?? Will you be in Utah to do the TOU Marathon? I will be taking a break this year, but I highly recommend TOU for first time marathoners...You can't beat 18 miles of downhill!
