And finally...the last post for October!

This was our first Halloween back in Utah and we decided to spend it the Astle way. We started at Grandpa's house with some soup and goodies then headed off for what Jared called "extreme trick-or-treating"...meaning we trick-or-treated for more than 20 minutes.

Jackson and Tanner were supposed to be Ninja's but for some reason they found dress up clothes and decided those were cooler. So Jackson is once again superman and Tanner is once again a lion. If you can't tell, Jared was "Dave."

Here's Tanner, Jackson, Parker, Marcus, Stanton and Addy.

Jackson showing off his muscles

Tanner growling

Tiffany, Mick, and Addy.

Heather, Jason, and Parker

I missed pictures of Paul, Cindy, Marcus, Jennifer and Stanton. They were all cute. Tanner was partial to Jennifer the Dalmation dog. He adopted her as his mother while trick-or-treating which meant she was stuck carrying his trick-or-treat bag the whole time...hee hee

My dad was dressed as a guy just out of knee surgery...the kind where they remove bullets. It sounds like he liked his costume so much he's going to dress up as that guy for a few weeks. I didn't get a picture of him or the bullet but here is a pumpkin he carved.

Looks like you did some major blogging catch-up. I laughed when I saw your costumes. I immediately thought, "but I can't take off the hat or I look like Hitler."

wait - how the heck did you do that? You mean, you watched the office the night before halloween and then did the costume the next day?? That is pretty quick guys. And who says procrastination doesn't pay off.
Fun posts. Miss yas.

Okay, so I am such an idiot. I just barely realized (after reading Jamie's comment) on WHY you were Charlie Chaplin! oh wow, I am a bit slow. Either way, you looked great and we had so much fun. (Now if someone could just come take all this candy!!!!) I wouldn't have so much if Jared wasn't the trick-or-treat nazi. He was making us go to all those houses and not stopping once.... ha ha!!!!

What a coincidence! Mike was "Dave" too! I went as "Tired Pregnant Lady" though the girls begged me not to be just mom. Looks like you had fun! (And btw, nice hiking both of you!)

Remember when you were and older trick or treat child and they let you go out on your own and you would come home with an entire pillow case full of candy - I alwasy hid mine and never ate it. I will have most of it still in the spring. good times good times.

"Extreme trick or treating"? "20 minutes"? You guys were out begging candy from neighbors long after we turned our lights out, not because we were out of candy but because it was so late we were sure only teenagers and pedophiles were left.

Hey weavers...the October Many idea was great. We (Syd and I) enjoyed the many pictures and Sydney definitely noticed the costumes that she recognized. She asked me what you were dressed as and I just laughed. I think the witches at gardner village looked like a fun place to visit. Anyway, miss you guys tons!

Found you on facebook. It was fun seeing some of your pics. I know we weren't close pals, but I always thought you were such a pretty girl, and 10 years later, you still are. Have a great day.

Love the pictures! To answer your question about the Guitar Hero-Rock Band debate, I would say that Guitar Hero is more challenging, but Rock Band is more fun. Rock Band will definitely make you more happy. Let me know what you decide!
